Using the Migration Wizard

Use the Migration Wizard to copy configurations of Reports, Input Sheets, and Business Rules, from one instance to another, so you can avoid manual setup and reduce errors during implementation.

Copying Configurations Between Instances

To copy configurations:

  1. Open the Migration Wizard.

  2. In Source Instance, select the instance that contains the configurations you want to copy.

  3. In Target Instance, select the instance where you want to copy the configurations.

  4. Select the items you want to migrate. Such as:

    • Reports
    • Input Sheets
    • Business Rules
  5. Select Run Migration.

    The system copies the selected configurations to the target instance.

What Happens After Migration

After the migration is complete:

  • Selected configurations are available in the target instance.

  • Relationships between configurations are preserved.

  • You do not need to manually recreate configurations.

    • Verify your selections before running the migration.

    • Only supported configuration types can be migrated.

    • Large migrations may take additional time to complete.
